I am Back!

I hope! I have had a little (little???) bout of stomach flu. I have been out of commission for a while. In addition, my ex-husband passed away and I had to go home for a few days. Now that all of that is behind me, I have some serious catching up to do. Here are new pictures of Beany at school. He is getting so big! He is very excited about his baby sister, and so is his Mommo!.....95 days and counting.....

I have this great idea for a cottage tote bag, and I am working on the design now. I love cottage design, color and texture and I think that this bag will be perfect for me. I will post pics as it progresses.

Soap sales are good. I have not added any new fragrances yet. I have had so many other "irons in the fire", that I have not had time to work on any new recipes. I have been dabbling a little in recipes for reed diffusers. I think you get the most bang for your buck with reed diffusers, and you never have to worry about whether you left them burning. Once I get the recipes completed, I will have those available too.

With the holidays coming, and they are coming quickly, I have been working on some ideas for my swap partner. I think I have finally decided what I am going to make for her.

I have so many ideas rolling around in my head that I get dizzy sometimes. I just wish that they were all GOOD ideas. The majority of them are not. Or, if they are, I can't figure out how to make them work. There just never seems to be enough hours in the day to do all the things that I want to do. I am sure that most of you feel that way also. I guess we just have to keep at it and accomplish what we can, when we can.

Oh, and I actually won something! I still can't believe it! I entered a little contest on Joanna Campbell Slan's blog, and I won! She sent me a great paperback, a bookmark about her new book, and some heavenly cosmetics. Thanks, Joanna.

I am thinking about doing a contest. I will have to ask IndigoBlue or Nannybird about doing it though because I have never done one. I think they are so fun!

Ok, I am off to catch up on the latest news on my favorite blogs.........take care all!

This week has been nutzoid..is that a word?

I have been running in circles this week. We had this big outdoor olympic thing at work, and I am in the process of moving from one property to another. It is budget time for us, and the preparation for budgets is extensive....I could go on and on, but you would just be bored. I have managed to slip in a little organizing here and there. I haven't had much blogging time, and I am hoping to get caught up this weekend. Hope all is well!

Days 2 and 3

Things are going really well! I have managed to do alot of cleaning out on Day 2 and 3. I also cleaned all my knitting supplies, 2 more files, and transferred all the pics from my camera to the computer. This is a great little cream pitcher that I found at an antique store in Lilburn. Isn't it just the cutest? And, this is McCoy, which I also collect, and I found it at a thrift store for 55 cents!

First Day of The Plan

Ok, today is the first day of the plan. I cleaned out 2 of my files this morning, and threw out almost everything in them. It is a small thing, but it is a start. Tonight, I am organizing my knitting supplies and books and getting rid of things that I don't need. This is the yarn that I am using for the next pair of socks that I am making. I have many skeins of yarn that I no longer wish to use, so I am donating them to charity. I have some books that I am also donating to charity, so that will get them out of my house.

It was a great first day~

I Have to Downsize and De-Stress!

What a day! I am so tired of running around like a crazy woman and trying to do things that I can't possibly do, so I am going to downsize and de-stress. I know it won't happen overnight, but I am going to do it. I have been talking about simplifying my life for months now, but I am really going to do it. With God's help and a little patience (don't laugh), I am going to be happier and healthier. I have set November 1, my little brother's birthday, to be my start date. I have set a goal to be organized and running smoothly by January 1, 2009. I feel better already! I have a plan!

And the Award goes to....

Wow, this has been one crazy week! The whole thing has been a blur! I have so much going on at work, the holidays are coming up, and I am trying to get my house ready to sell. In addition, I have the Etsy shop, making soaps, my little booth at the antique store, football games at Randy's school on Friday nights, getting ready for the new granddaughter, and the list just goes on and on.

I received an award last week from Indigo Blue, Thank you again Andrea, and I want to pass it on to some of my friends.

To SewPrimKhris, my best buddy in Handpiecers, who never fails to encourage me and to share her love of quilting with me. I love you Khris.

To Knit R Done for having such an interesting blog.

To Uniquely Tea for blogging about Charlestion, my most favorite place in the whole world. I also love her information on tea. I am a tea lover and her blog is the bomb.

To Quiltville Snips and Quips for giving more quilting information than any blog or website has ever offered. I want to salute Bonnie's creativity, her ability to do more than any human should possible be capable of, and for giving us all new projects to keep us busy!

I salute you all!
XOXOXO
