Needle Mania Giveaway!

I am giving away a complete set of Knit Picks 4" DPN's!! To welcome you to my blog, please enter for a chance to win these great needles. They are Harmony wood and include sizes 0 - 4. These are a dream for knitting socks! They come in a portable, take along bag that keeps them clean and handy. Good Luck!

Knitting socks is an addiction! Stashing sock yarn is a bigger addiction! If you are a sock knitter, then you know exactly what I mean. When I began knitting several years ago, it was because I wanted to knit socks. I have been a crocheter for many, many years, but there was something about socks that really intrigued me. I learned that you have to be to knit before you can knit socks, so I decided to learn, and the rest is history.

Gardening has always been my first love, but I have to admit that gardening has taken a backseat to knitting socks. I am planning to start blogging about socks as my main interest and then add in other things like gardening, quilting, crocheting, etc. I hope that you will follow along with me and enjoy the world of socks!

To enter this contest you need to do the following:

1. Leave a comment on this post and tell me why you would like to win these needles and if you too, are a sock knitter.

2. Join my Ravelry group "Brian's Bunch" and introduce yourself.

3. Post on your blog about this giveaway and link back to my blog.

4. Follow my blog and add it to your favorites.

5. Announce this giveaway on your Ravelry group or a group that you are part of.

I will choose a random winner on January 31, 2011. Good Luck and again, Welcome to my Blog!

I do not knit socks. I barely knit anything but my aunt loves to knit socks (completely addicted!) and my little ones never have cold feet because of it. I love the socks she makes and would love to gift these to her if I win. Thanks for sharing and from all the feet that are warmed by your socks. Thank you

Hi, I am on my way to completing
the steps ..

I have made 3prs. of socks. I love them. Cannot get "Magic Loop". So this set would be a wonderful addition to the sock yarns I purchased last wk. online.

Thanks,
Darla(dacg on Rav.)

Lovely giveaway! I'd love these because I became addicted to sock knitting last year but only have a bunch of old metal DPNs from the thrift store.
I have a set of the wooden KP interchangeable circulars so I know they're awesome, and having them for sock knitting as well would be awesome.

I'm not sure if we should post these individually or all in one post, I hope this is okay.
I blogged about you here and added your blog to my link list. I also subscribed as a google follower.

What a great gift. I'm not a sock knitter yet but I want to learn. What a wonderful way to get started. I've made baby hats with DPNs but not socks -- YET.... I love products from Knit Picks. They are reasonably priced and a very high quality. Looking forward to reading your blog.

Hi Lynn,

I'd love to win the needles because I'm just getting back into knitting after a 30 year break. I'm a sock-a-holic and hate the rubbish you buy these days so want to make them myself!

I just want to say that Brian is one lucky young man to have a nana like you in his life. I'm MTCup on ravelry and I'll be following you. :)

First of all, let me say what a wonderful giveaway this is!! I've been meaning to start blogging and you have just given me the perfect excuse to start! lol

I am currently a crocheter, with basic knitting skills. One of my New Year's Resolutions is to improve my knitting skills and to make more items for myself. I have been itching to learn how to knit socks for quite some time now. Hopefully I will be the lucky winner so that I will be armed with some wonderful tools to get my new obsession started!

Why wouldn't I like to win these?! I've only knit a few pairs of socks but one of my resolutions this year was to knit some socks for myself (I gift knit A LOT) so these would definitely come in handy!

Oh, and I became a follower.

I am not much of a sock knitter, but would love the needles to close up goofy hats for the Shop Baby! Glad to see you are up and running!

Hi there! My goal this year is to become a sock knitter... I am currently working on a pair for my husband using Magic Loop. But I want to learn DPNs I love the Harmony circulars so I know that the DPNs will be the best motivation!

I don't blog nor do I have my own Rav group, but I will be happy to tell folks about your blog and contest!

I hope you enjoy blogging and I look forward to following! Best Wishes and thanks for the giveaway!

I love using the shorter dpn sets when I knit socks. They are more comfortable for me and I don't have to wonder if I've made a mess of magic loop. I'm happy to add your blog to my list of those I read regularly!

Why I would like to win those needles? Well, because I love to knit socks and always have too little needles by hand!!

I am from the Netherlands by the way, is that a problem?

I would love to win these! I only have 2 sets of sock needles in large sizes. Recently purchased 2 skiens of Sea Sock with my Christmas money and need smaller needles. Thanks for your generosity!

I am just starting to knit socks and my DPNs are limited. I love sock yarn and all the things you can do with the yarn besides socks.

I cannot tell if my last post was accepted or not, but I have just started sock knitting and I am starting to need DPNs for this. Magic Loop goes only so far. I love sock yarn, not just for socks, but for all the delightful things for which sock yarn can be used.

I knit socks, as you know. Mostly plain ones though, and knit picks is the best needles in the world. I love mine. I bought one of these sets a year or so ago, but I have broken a couple of needles and need to get a new one. Winning this would be awesome.

I have knit a half dozen pair of socks and still do not feel I'm doing it right. I have goals to make many more pairs but want to build my supply of good needles. My Christmas wish list included these needles and I still have not gotten them.
