Christmas Swap 2008

I received the most beautiful gift from Ginger, my swap partner! She made this beautiful stocking and filled it with all kinds of yummy goodies!

Thank you, Ginger! I have her gift ready to ship tomorrow. I am running a little late because of a business trip and the fact that I ran out of supplies right in the middle and couldn't get to the store to restock. I had a long and stressful week, but it is Friday (almost midnight) and I just now settling down. I am still drinking coffee and working on a variety of things. I finished the first sock for Kate and started the second. I finally learned how to do 2 socks at a time, but I had already made the first sock for Kate, so I have to finish the second one the same way.

Took my Mom to dinner and shopping tonight, and it was a hoot. I had to miss my knitting group and that always aggravates me. My Mom drives me crazy, and I just hope and pray that I never do that to my kids. Randy is in Chicago, so I have the house all to myself, along with the dogs, and that means that I can stay up all night if I want, and not worry about waking him. Leno is on, and doing his monologue. He is so funny!

Is anyone reading Twilight? My daughter-in-laws have all either read it or are reading it, and so I decided to give it a shot. It is ok, but has not grabbed me, and if it doesn't soon, I am afraid I will have to move on. If you have read it, let me know what you think. Should I continue or dump it?

Ok, sweet dreams to all......2 weeks until Santa comes....

love ya'll~
