Back to Work

Well, it was back to the old routine today. In a way though, it was not so bad. I guess we get used to a routine. Randy and I hung a quilt in the dining room tonight. Unfortunately, it is not one that I made, rather one that he won in a silent auction. It is absolutely beautiful though, and it looks wonderful in my dining room. We are getting the decorations put away and trying to get our house back in order.

New Granddaughter

We are having a new little granddaughter on February 17, 2009. We have always wanted a granddaughter, but have only had boys, so we are very excited! She will be Brian's little sister, and the daughter of Richard and Kate. Her parents have decided that she will be named Anna Kathryn. They are naming her Anna after Randy's Mother, Anna, who passed away on Christmas Eve, 2002. We loved her dearly, and I think that little Anna will be perfect to honor her.

Blogging

I have been away from the blog for a while, but I am back now. It has been a crazy few weeks. So much going on, so much to do, the days have been like a whirlwind......lots to catch up on over the next few days, but I will.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all my friends!

Breaking Dawn

I finished the book and though the ending surprised me a little, I think that Breaking Dawn was the best book of series. I highly recommend this series of books, if you love romantic novels.

Twilight Update

I have finished Eclipse and I am now reading Breaking Dawn, the last book. This has been a real mind bender for me. I am really impressed that someone could write this kind of story. I don't know how it ends yet, but I am anxious to find out. It's funny, usually this kind of story doesn't appeal to me, but I am really enjoying this one.

Twilight

Remember last week when I was asking if anyone had read Twilight??? Oh gee, that thing has grabbed me and not only have I read it, but also the 2nd book, New Moon, and I am half finished with Eclipse, the 3rd book. The story is so unusual. Nothing that you would ever think about happening. There is a 4th book, and when Randy and I are out shopping tonight, I am going to buy it also. I recommend them highly!
